When you recommend a friend who's currently using oil, electricity or solid fuel, we’ll top up both of your Calor Accounts with up to £75 worth of gas.*

Then, share this page with your friend and they can fill in our form below to get the switch started. Once your friend receives their first gas fill, we'll pop the gas credit into both of your Calor Accounts.* It's as simple as that.

Terms & Conditions

Definitions: 
“Calor”
means Calor Gas Limited (registration number 303703) located at Athena House, Athena Drive, Tachbrook Park, Warwickshire, CV34 6RL.
“Credit” means an amount paid in accordance with paragraph 6 (Credit) below.
“Existing Calor Customer” means a customer who has a current Calor account number and who receives bulk domestic LPG supplied by Calor under the terms of a supply contract.
“LPG” means liquified petroleum gas.
“Participant” means a person aged 18 years or more who resides in the UK (i.e., England, Wales or Scotland).
“Promoter” means Calor.
“Recommended Customer” means a Participant who is not an Existing Calor Customer, and who has been referred to the Scheme by an Existing Calor Customer.
“Recommender” means an Existing Calor Customer who participates in the Scheme.

  1. The Scheme is not open to employees of Calor, or anyone connected with the Promoter, or with the Scheme.
  2. The Scheme shall only apply if the Recommended Customer:
    a) is switching from an alternative fuel to LPG;
    b) becomes a bulk domestic LPG customer of Calor; and

    c) has had delivery of the first fill of LPG from Calor.
  3. To enter the Scheme, the Recommended Customer must either:
    a) visit https://www.calor.co.uk/home-energy/using-lpg/calor-customer/recommend-a-friend and complete the online form together with the Recommender’s Calor customer account number; or
    b) call Calor Sales on 01926 674 929 and provide the details requested by the agent taking the call.
  4. By entering the Scheme, Participants consent to having their details (i.e., name, email address, telephone number) stored by the Promoter for the purpose of administration of the Scheme. Calor’s Privacy Policy for customers is available at: https://www.calor.co.uk/privacy, and sets out how we use your personal information.
  5. Eligibility:
    a) The Scheme is open to Recommenders and Recommended Customers resident in the UK.

    b) The Scheme is only applicable to domestic customers receiving bulk LPG supplied by Calor.
    c) Credit will not be given if the Recommended Customer referred is already being supplied with LPG by Calor or an alternative LPG supplier.
    d) A claim under this Scheme cannot be made retrospectively and Credit will therefore not be made to either account.
    e) If the Recommended Customer cancels the supply contract with Calor before delivery of the first fill of LPG from Calor, this will result in cancellation of the Credit to the accounts of both the Recommender and Recommended Customers.
    f) Calor reserves the right to verify the eligibility of Recommenders and Recommended Customers and require proof of eligibility to be determined solely by Calor.
    g) Commercial customers are not currently eligible to participate in this Scheme.
    h) Cylinder customers are not currently eligible to participate in this Scheme.
    i) Any referral where both the Recommender and the Recommended Customer live at the same address will not be processed and no Credit will be provided.
    j) Existing Customers must not publicise their Calor customer account numbers or other customer details online or via any voucher code websites and a failure to adhere to this requirement may result in the Recommender being excluded from the Scheme and not be entitled to Credit.
    k) It is the responsibility of the Recommended Customer to check any existing arrangements he/she may have with respect to any existing fuel supply before entering into any contract for the supply of LPG from Calor.
  6. Credit:
    a) Credit will be issued to the Recommender and Recommended Customer’s Calor account within thirty (30) days of the Recommended Customer’s first fill of LPG from Calor.
    b) For switching from an alternative fuel, the offer of £75 Credit refers to:
    i. £75 worth of credit added to the Recommender’s domestic bulk LPG account to be used towards LPG supply or standing charges; and
    ii. £75 worth of credit added to the Recommended Customer’s domestic bulk LPG account to be used towards LPG supplied after the first fill of LPG from Calor.  
    c) No cash alternative is available.
    d) If the Credit is not used before exiting the bulk LPG supply contract, no cash alternative will be offered.
    e) In the event of unforeseen circumstances Calor reserves the right to alter the Credit offer and offer a substitute of equal or greater value that is not cash.
    f) The offer of Credit cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or promotion of Calor.
  7. Promotion by Recommender:
    a) Calor has a zero-tolerance spam policy. Bulk email distribution, distribution to strangers, or any other promotion by a Recommender in a manner that would constitute or appear to constitute unsolicited commercial email or spam is expressly prohibited.
    b) Where a Recommender chooses to promote the Scheme by email they will be deemed the actual sender of the emails and must comply with all applicable UK laws including but not limited to data protection and privacy law, electronic communication law, anti-spam law, etc., (“Applicable Law”).  A Recommender who does not comply with the Applicable Law, shall fully indemnify and keep fully indemnified Calor against any losses, liabilities, claims, charges, fines, costs and expenses of every description (including legal and any other reasonable professional fees) it incurs as a result of the Recommender’s breach of the Applicable Law.
    c) Recommenders must make it clear to everyone in any written or verbal form of their recommendation of the Scheme, that they are not representatives or employees of Calor and that the recommendation is personal between the Recommender and the Recommended Customer.
  8. Calor’s Rights and Discretions:
    a) Calor may refuse to verify and process any transaction Calor deems, in its sole discretion, to be illegal, fraudulent, suspicious, in violation of these terms, or believes will impose liability on Calor, its subsidiaries, affiliates or any of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents. Calor reserves the right to delay issuing any Credit whilst conducting an investigation in pursuance to this clause.
    b) Any decision by Calor in respect of whether or not a Recommender or Recommended Customer is entitled to Credit shall be final and binding.
    c) Calor reserves the right to amend, alter or terminate the Scheme at any time for any reason without prior notice.
    d) Calor shall not be responsible for failure to issue Credit resulting from an incorrectly completed form by the Recommended Customer.
