1.These terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”) set out the basis on which you may participate in the “Christmas jumper” competition (the “Competition”) 2.The promoter of the Competition is Calor Gas Limited (company number 00303703) whose registered office is at Athena House, Athena Drive, Tachbrook Park, Warwick CV34 6RL (the “Promoter”). 3.The Competition is open to all engineers in mainland Great Britain who are registered on the Calor installer scheme and are aged 18 or over. The Competition is not open to employees of the Promoter or anyone connected with this Competition. 4.By entering this Competition you agree: a)to be bound by these Terms and Conditions; b)that you are the individual within any picture submitted, or have permission from the individual of whom you submit the picture; c)you give consent to having your details stored by the Promoter for the purpose of administering the competition. d)to grant the Promoter a free, perpetual, non-exclusive, royalty free, transferrable licence to use or reproduce all pictures submitted in its marketing activities. 5.The prize is a caricature drawing of the winner of the competition. Please note the caricature drawing will be created using the original photo which the winner sends in. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Promoter reserves the right to alter the Prize and offer a substitute of equal or greater value. 6.To be entered into the Competition you must: a)be signed up to our installer scheme b)submit a picture of you in a Christmas jumper via email or social media 7.How to enter the Competition: a)You need to be an existing installer registered on the Calor installer scheme. b)Email a picture of yourself in a Christmas jumper to calorinstaller@calor.co.uk or c)Post your picture to social media using #CalorChristmasCompetition and then follow the associated Official Calor social page (for Twitter see @calorinstaller, @officialcalor for Instagram and Facebook see Calor Gas). 8.No purchase is required to enter the Competition and only one Christmas picture per participant is permitted. If you submit more than one picture you will not be entered into the Competition. 9.The Competition starts at 12:00am hours (GMT) on 1st December 2019 and ends at 11:59pm hours (GMT) on 20th December 2019. Entries received after the closing date will not be considered. 10.The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify incomplete, altered, illegible or late entries. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for lost, damaged or delayed entries, or for any technical, telecommunication or website error. Proof of entry is not proof of receipt. 11.All Christmas jumper pictures received from valid correct entries will be judged by Calor shortly after 20th December 2019 and one winner will be chosen at random. 12.The winner will be notified by email (where they entered in accordance with condition 7(a) above) or by direct message on social media (where they entered in accordance with condition 7(b) above) on 23rd December 2019. The Prize (caricature drawing) will be sent to the winner by post to their selected delivery address in Q1 of 2020. 13.The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any Prize, which is not received by the winner due to incorrect or incomplete address details having been provided. Any Prize returned to sender or undelivered due to incorrect or incomplete details having been provided by the winner will be deemed unwanted and that winner's claim to a Prize will be forfeited. 14.Christmas jumper pictures submitted may be featured in the Promoter’s Customer Communication Leaflet, which is sent to the Promoter’s home energy customers, installer newsletter and on its social media pages and by entering this Competition you agree to your pictures participating in such features. We may also use the winner’s caricature drawing in all of the above features/communications both internally and externally. 15.The Prize is non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for any cash alternatives or auctioned in whole or in part. 16.The Promoter’s decision as to the operation of the Competition will be final. No correspondence will be entered into. 17.The Promoter reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without notice, if in its opinion, events or circumstances occur outside its reasonable control. 18.By entering the Competition, participants agree that the Promoter may use personal data relating to participants for the purposes of administering the Competition (subject to the privacy policy available at https://www.calor.co.uk/privacy) in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. Participants’ personal data will not otherwise be disclosed to third parties without the relevant participants’ prior consent. 19.To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter accepts no liability for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any participant entering the Competition or as a result of accepting any Prize. 20.The Competition is subject to the laws of England and Wales. 21.Please contact the Promoter at calorinstaller@calor.co.uk if you have any questions or queries about the Competition.
